Domains

When ILJOJA Networks registers a domain for it’s customer, we only relay the customer information to the register. We are not responsible for maintaining or operating the register.

We handle the re-registeration of the domain if it was registered through us or was transfered to the register we use. Otherwise customers themselves are responsiple for the re-registeration.

The domain is always registered in the name of the customer and the customer serves as the administrative contact for the domain. Please, be advised that when registering international domain, information about the customer is stored in the international WHOIS database including all domain owners. This is based on ICANN policy.

Identification information handling

Network traffic leaves information in the logs of servers, routers etc. The content might include information about the date and time, duration, source and destination addresses, devices and protocols etc.

Information can be used for example to the following purposes: billing, customer service situations, intrusion detection and resolving, service development, customer reports and offers.

Cookies

We use cookie technology for service development, implementation and advertising. It’s used both in our own services as well as our partner’s. We would like to emphasize that the user can disable cookies in his or hers browser to improve personal anonymity. In some situations this might affect the use of the website.

We use third party connections as a part of our site together with some social media extensions (for example Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin). These connections and extensions can load information from their own servers and they can use cookies according to their policies.
